The Diamond Hotel

A few days ago, we celebrated my Grandmother's 80th Birthday by staying in the 21st floor Executive Suite of The Diamond Hotel along Manila Bay. It was by far the most high-class hotel i've ever been to:

there's a telephone beside the toilet. @__@

OTHER NOTABLE FEATURES:

- This is by far, the BEST bathroom/toilet i've come across. Ambience is topnotch, amenities complete, awesome-smelling bathroom products. Wide open space, plenty of room. It was as big as my room here at home. Flushing was kind of surprising, because it was very silent; my usual experience with flushing is it makes some sort of noise as the water rushes inwards. This one doesn't. maybe it's the elevation of the place, i don't know. All i know is, this place is PERFECT.

Last night after Kung Fu training, i had a random dinner with my classmates at Ersao along  Quezon Avenue near Sto. Domingo Church:

- Those decorative tiles are a nice touch, reminds me of greenbelt building exteriors. could use a little more though.

Shinjuku Ramen House - Pasong Tamo

Last January 2, 2014, i celebrated with some of my close friends, the Kidlat club. My friend Joseph had his birthday on December 31st, me on January 1st. We ate dinner at this Japanese ramen house in Makati where i previously ate with my other group of friends, the Signas peeps. Now, on to business..

- This room is quite spacious, just the right amount of square meters(or tiles) that allows proper movement. Lighting is good, wall colors are very warm and homely.

Bonifacio High Street Public Toilets

Fort Bonifacio, Taguig(Makati?)

I've had a few emergency close calls in Fort Bonifacio. Good thing i can always rely on the Public Toilets in High Street, my first encounter with a really classy toilet cubicle (before there were Greenbelt and Robinson's Magnolia modern toilets)

- This room is VERY spacious, with enough room for changing clothes if you're jogging near the area. Lighting is so-so, when i first tried it i was very impressed, but looking at it now, it just reminds me of hospital toilets- plain and clinical.

Yabu House of Katsu

5F Skypark, SM Aura Premier

Yesterday, our Company had a team lunch/meeting at SM Aura. A new officemate was introduced and a tutorial session was done, same as always.

- This room is quite small and busy-looking. Lighting is nice and they really amped up their creativity on the reading material in this room. Lots of articles, clippings, posters of the restaurant and its events. Nice mondrian layout to the walls. You'll never feel bored while dumping or peeing in this room :)
